Where to celebrate St Patrick's Day around Boston
St PATRICK'S DAY AROUND BOSTON
If you're from Boston or just spent four years of college here you know that St. Patrick's Day & Marathon Monday are our two favorite days to party. I love both, but St. Patrick's Day has always been my favorite. Here's my list of places to celebrate around the Boston area.
Specials around Boston
The Independent - Somerville - The "Indo" will celebrate with traditional Irish specials like Bangers & Mashed, Guinness Beef Stew, Corned Beef & Cabbage an Irish Breakfast and more...
Bukowski Tavern - Cambridge - will be serving up the St. "Patty" Burger (seared corned beef topped with whiskey bacon, malted cabbage and Irish cheddar cheese.)
Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake - Back Bay, Boston - Chef Brian Poe does it again with this Irish take on tacos, Jalapeno Spiked Corned Beef Tacos (served with flash fried cabbage, topped with Jameson potato salsa and parsley chimichurri)

Old School Boston Celebration at Stoddard's Food & Ale - Downtown, Boston - The guy's at Stoddard's do it Boston style again this year with the 6th annual Evacuation Day (Boston Holiday) Party. Two floors of beer, music and specials from the kitchen. Starting at 10am and remember don't ask for green beer. #NOGREENBEER
South Street Diner - Boston's only 24/7 spot will offer up some St Patrick's Day special all week long from 11am -11pm.
Anna's Taqueria - All locations - Yes you guessed it!! Anna's will have a Corned Beef Burrito on #StPatricksDay!!
The Dropkicks Murphys are in town for a little home town throwdown, with six dates in the Boston area I hope you have tickets.
Mr. Dooley's Tavern - My go to best spot in Boston for a proper pint of Guinness and real Irish music. If you want the feel of a real Irish Pub this is it.
Solas Irish Pub - Located inside the Lenox Hotel, this is another go to spot for a proper pint of Guinness. Solas has a very traditional Irish Pub feel with a warm friendly staff and food to match.
Cornwall's Tavern - Kenmore Square - (OK, It's a English Pub) but the owner John Beale rocks a killer Corned Beef & Cabbage special for St Patrick's Day, the secret is his beer mustard sauce. Trust me, it is worth the trip. This is my local spot so it always makes my list.
Mcgreevy's 3rd Base Saloon - Back Bay - Home of the Dropkick Murphys, this Irish bar has a blowout St. Patrick's Day Party every year that you don't want to miss. They also have a special menu!
Matt Murphy's - Brookline - Another classic Irish menu. All year long they offer up a traditional Irish menu. Don't pass up the shepards pie & a pint of Guinness if you go.
Green Briar Irish Pub - Brighton - All week long the Green Briar in Brighton will be rockin St. Patrick's Day festivities. (live music, Irish step dancing, Irish flare)
