LA County Restaurant Owner Says Businesses Are Unfairly Targeted By Covid-19 Restrictions

Unfair Coronavirus Restrictions Is A Slap In The Face For LA County Restaurant Owner.

Over the weekend in an emotional Instagram Post gone viral Angela Marsden owner of the Pineapple Hill Saloon called out Mayor Garcetti and the LA County heath order that is ordering her to shutdown both her indoor and outdoor dining while allowing a video production company to set up an outdoor catering spot 50 feet away from her outdoor patio seating.

Angela Marsden, said her anger isn’t toward the movie industry, but because she believes restaurants are being unfairly targeted by Los Angeles County health orders.

Under the county’s guidelines, video and music production is deemed essential.

Over the weekend in Massachusetts Bill Weiss of Island Creek Oysters and local chef and restaurateur Jamie Bissonnette launched their own video on Instagram with the hopes to sell t-shirts to support Massachusetts Restaurants United.

All across the country restaurants are being forced to close doors without financial support. Meanwhile here in Boston restaurants are going into “Hibernation” with the hopes to open doors again in the spring. Massachusetts is currently operating under a 9:30pm curfew that seems to just be a slow death for the nightlife industry.

Please to get out to support your local business through takeout or dine in while we still have it.

Cheers!!
