This Halloween weekend Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse will be serving up some special seasonal cocktails. The Halloween Cocktail Menu features three new cocktails: The Black Devil, The Green “Monster,” and The Great Pumpkin, all $12 each. The special menu is available October 30th through November 1st only at the Back Bay location.
The Black Devil
2 oz Myers Dark Rum or Ron Zacapa
1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes of Black Mission Fig Bitters
Put all ingredients over ice, stir, and strain into chilled martini glass with orange colored super fine sugar.
Garnish with French brandy soaked luxardo cherries on a Halloween swizzle stick.
The Great Pumpkin
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Spiced Pumpkin Liquor
1 oz Baileys
½ oz Pumpkin puree
2 dashes of maple bitters
Add all ingredients over ice and shake, and strain into martini glass. Add a bit of fresh whipped cream to one side as well as a sprinkle of graham cracker, cinnamon and nutmeg.
The Green "Monster"
2 oz Plymouth Gin
1 tsp Green Creme de Menthe
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 tsp mint simple syrup
1 egg white
Put all ingredients over ice and shake very vigorously.
Add a space of soda water, serve in a snifter glass that is rimmed with raspberry puree "blood" that oozes down the outside of the glass.
