Things To do Around Boston This June!

It's June!! It's been a long wait for what really is the most active month for things to do around Boston!! Here's my @bostonattitude list of events around Boston you can't afford to miss for June 2015

What to do around Boston!! 

June 1 - Endless Summer in the Terrace Bar  - For all of June enjoy an All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry at Legal Seafoods Terrace Bar in Cambridge.  Every month this Summer enjoy an endless summer special.

June 2 -4 - Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl - This is one of my favorite events of the summer. How can you beat all you can eat ice cream. Eat ice Cream and Help the Jimmy Fund!!  From June 2 -4th  Boston's City Hall Plaza will turn into an ice cream mecca and it's all in support of the Jimmy Fund.  

June 2-  Rooftop Yoga with Meghan Rozanski  -Yoga with awesome view from the beautiful rooftop of the Garrison Square Apartments.  For other MoveWith events click here

June 2- The Puppet Showcase Theater Gala. Happening at the majestic George H. Wightman Mansion. This family friendly event will have live puppet performances, with food from the Fireplace in Brookline.  

June 3 -Taste Of Somerville 2015 - Experience and sample Somerville's dinning and nightlife food and beverage. Tickets can be purchased for $50 or $75 for VIP. 

June 3 -  Pop-up Pestaurant at 1 Faneuil Hall Square - from 11:30am - 2:30  pm gives you a chance to bite back at bugs. Ehrlich Pest Control is hosting a lunch with items like grasshoppers burgers, mealworm fried rice, chocolate crickets cookies.

June 4 - Foundry on Elms Beer Dinner Series - Every Thursday in June, Foundry on Elm features a two-course prix fixe menu paired with suds from a different brewery for only $20 beginning at 5:00pm.

June 4 - MoveWith presents Kick it with Eliza Shirazi - You will get your heart rate up with this part dance part kick boxing high-intensity full body workout. 

June 4 & 5 - Boston Bit Fest- Video Games and Beer,  New games, classic games, indie games and it's all going down at  Night Shift Brewing.  This event is 21+ 

June 5 - MFA First Fridays - Every first Friday of the Month the Boston Museum of Fine Arts holds an evening with music, cocktails and tapas all available to purchase from 6:00 -9:30 pm. This is a 21+ event and positive ID is required. 

June 5 - ICA First Fridays  - This month is Island Time at the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston with a Steel band, Caribbean music and a pop-up Oyster bar. 5 -10pm 

June 5 - 14 -  Boston Pride Week 2015 - Boston stands wicked proud supporting a week of over 50 activities from a concert on city hall plaza to the famous Boston Pride Parade. 

June 6 - Providence/Boston Food Truck Showdown - Boston Food Trucks roll in to Providence for a foods truck showdown,. Take the day trip and support your local favorite Food Trucks. 

June 6 - Head to Brookline for the Coolidge Corner Arts Festival - Spend the afternoon checking out work from over 75 local artists. What would a festival be without Food Trucks? Plenty to eat from the Boston Food Trucks that are making their way into Brookline. 

June 6 - Cambridge Arts River Festival - From Noon - 6pm celebrate the arts with  this free event with family art activities and 100 food purveyors and craftspeople. 

June 7 - Piloxing with Purpose - A mashup fitness event for men and women to benefit Autism Speaks. This Pilate/Boxing class and post party comes with a complimentary Bloody Mary or Mimosa if you are 21+ 

June 8 - Kicks off the summer long MoveWith RunYoga Summer series - RunYoga is a 8 week series that brings together yoga and running. Become faster, stronger and more flexible while you meet some amazing  people at the same time. 

June 9 - Boston Taste of the Nation - 100%  of the proceeds benefits No Kid Hungry's efforts to end childhood hunger! Join over 60 of Boston's best chefs for great tastes paired with beer, wine and spirits.

June 11 - Boston TechJam -  The Boston TechJam 'block party' returns  with a libation, live music, and local food trucks on Boston City Hall Plaza.  #BTJ2015

June 11 - 7th annual Party on the Pier -  Join DJ Ryan Brown, and Courageous Sailing for dancing and a few Dark N' Stormy's with Goslings Rum in Charlestown for a party on the pier.

June 12 & 13 - 4th Annual Hyper-Local Craft Beer Fest- This two, day three session beer tasting is for beer lovers, home brewers and more. Sample and support local food & beverage, see home brew demos and more.

June 13 &14 - The 36th Annual Boston Hong Kong Dragon Festival - Two days of Dragon Boat races, arts and crafts and cultural performances and Asian food. 

June 11- 33rd annual Newbury Street League Gala - Cocktails with a taste of Newbury Street, Music & Dancing with red carpet coverage and more. 

June 14 - Back Bay Harry's Madonna Super Fan Brunch - Don't miss this one, make your reservation now. Celebrate the legendary performer Madonna with a themed Brunch. Call today: 617-424-6711 

June 14 - It's Back!! Bacon Bourbon Brunch at Anthem - The 2nd Sunday of each Month you can enjoy a special menu that celebrates Bacon + Bourbon at the Fanueil Hall Restaurant. 

June 17 - Brass Union hosts Jack's Abby Brewing Dinner -  4 + courses of amazing food from Brass Union paired with awesome brews from Jack's Abby Brewing. Sounds like a win win to me. 

June 19 - The 18th Annual Chefs in Shorts - An epic grill off between 40+ of Boston's Best Chefs to benefit Future Chefs.  

June 20 - The Somerville Arts Council presents Joe's Jazz & Blues Festival - Enjoy live music at the best all-day free concert at Powderhouse Park. Noon -6:30pm 

June 20 - 2015 Bacon Beer Festival - When two of my favorite things (bacon & beer) come together to at one of my favorite places (Fenway Park). The festival supports the Red Sox Foundation, Community Servings and Lovin' Spoonfuls.  

June 20 - Glow in the Park at the Rose Kennedy Greenway - 80's music, beer +wine, food trucks all under the most talked about piece of art in Boston the Janet Echelman Sculpture. 

June 20 - Phantom Gourmet Hot Dog Safari - Head down to Lansdowne street along side Fenway Park for an afternoon of hot dogs and entertainment to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation . This years Grand Marshall is  Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. 

June 26 - Dancing in the streets at the 2015 Cambridge Dance Party - Join Thousands of locals and visitors as they dance in the streets in front of the Cambridge City Hall.

June 26 &27 - The 3rd annual Boston Jerkfest & Rum + Brew Tasting -  The only Caribbean foodie event in town. This two day outdoor/indoor event has food, music, beer and rum with some amazing BBQ.  

June 26 - Kick off summer with the all summer long event FREE Fun Fridays presented by the Highland Street Foundations-  70 museum and cultural events spread out over 10 weeks each Friday!! 

June 27 - The 10th annual Great Boston Beer Marathon - For the 10th year help support the efforts to fight Multiple Sclerosis with a 26 bar pub crawl. This is a great event for a great cause and lots of fun.
