Artweek Boston - May 1 - 10 - 125 events happening over 10 days at various locations around  Boston. 

Celebrate the Kentucky Derby - May 2 - at Darryl's Corner Bar   Oak Long Bar or  Drink 

Somerville Open Studios - May 2 & 3 Local artists will open their homes and yard to display local art.  

Pacquiao vs. Mayweather - The Fight everyone has wanted to see - May 2 at McGreevys for the  Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight, $25 at the door first come first serve.  

32nd annual Harvard Square MayFair -  Noon -6p  - the annual spring time tradition features three stages of music, dance troupes, local food, crafts, a chalk art gallery, street art and entertainment for the whole family.

Cinco de Mayo - May 5th for you gringo's who have no clue.  It's like St. Patrick's Day only Mexican. Everyone gets in on it and with lots of Tequila drinking.  If margaritas are your thing, Check out my 5 places around Boston to have one. 

Boston Bike Party - "Let's be Twinsies" - May 8 - find a bike buddy or 2 or 3 or 4 and double your pleasure and fun. Celebrate the Bike Party turning 2 with a  "Let's be Twinsies" ride.

Brass Union host Bully Boy Distillers Dinner - May 13th  is "Brass Pairings" Brass Union will team up with the local Roxbury based Bully Boy Distillers for a four-plus-course dinner. 

Seaport Sangria Smackdown- May 13  - For $20 per person, guests will enjoy sangria tastings and light hors d’oeuvres; they are encouraged to vote for their favorite sangria, with one restaurant being crowned the Seaport Sangria Smackdown Champion! Some of the participating restaurants include: City Bar, Empire Restaurant and Lounge, Legal Test Kitchen, MC Spiedo, Sam's at Louis, TAMO Bistro & Bar and The Barking Crab.

Samuel Adams American Craft Week Bluegrass & BBQ Party - May 15 -  Blue Ribbon BBQ, with homemade sauces made with Samuel Adams beer plus sample Samuel Adams beers, including our Rebel Rouser Double IPA, favorites like Boston Lager and Summer Ale Event space is limited - RSVPs are first come, first serve. 

8th annual Paws 4 A Cure walk - May 17 - Join the 8th Annual Paws 4 A Cure Walk on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The mission of Paws 4 A Cure is to provide financial assistance to qualified families throughout the United States who cannot afford veterinary care for their beloved furry family members without our help.

Nicko's Ping Pong Challenge - May 18th  - Rob Ninkovich is hosting a celebrity charity Ping Pong Challenge on Monday, May 18 at Blazing Paddles (downstairs of Game On! at Fenway). Confirmed players in the tournament include: Rob Ninkovich, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, JeRod Mayo, Stephen Gostkowski, Danny Amendola, Ray Bourque, Milan Lucic, Teal Bunbury and Charlie Davies

Boston Calling Music Festival -  May 22 & 23 &24 - Let's face it, this event is becoming the place to kick of Summer in Boston, and in September the end summer. I meet people every year who travel into town just for this event.  Two Stages on City hall plaza with three days of headliners from the music world. Here's the lineup, get your tickets

Taste of Boston - May 28 - Faneuil Hall Marketplace - Samples the food and flavors that make Boston Wicked Awesome along with some local brew by Sam Adams all to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank.
