There’s nothing quite like toasting the holidays with loved ones. Throughout December, Sumiao Hunan Kitchenin Kendall Square is giving you three more reasons to do just that by shaking up festive sips guaranteed to keep you, and your wallet, merry and bright.
Tired of waiting for Santa? The short and stout Mrs. Claus cocktail ($8) arrived early and is here to stay all month, bursting with the quintessential winter flavors of Bailey’s Irish Cream, Campari and Bombay gin. Also spotlighted this month and named after the famous reindeer of Christmas stories, The Red Nose ($10) is a colorful and fizzy cocktail that combines vodka, Villa Maria and blood orange in an elegant flute. As an added treat, both cocktails are complete with a crunchy, minty candy cane garnish.
By popular demand, Sumiao’s November Hot Toddy cocktail special will be available for another 31 days bringing you a handwarmer-meets-heartwarmer of lemon-honey black tea, whiskey, housemade chamomile lavander reduction, Disaronno and a lemon twist ($7).
