Boston Neighborhoods with Great Nightlife

By Tara Scott-Johnson, Trulia

Bostonians love their nightlife. Fortunately, Boston neighborhoods are saturated with bars, restaurants, pubs and high-end lounges. To find hotspots to frequent, look no further than Trulia’s nightlife map powered by Yelp. The nightlife map makes it easy for Bostonians to locate great nightlife in nearby neighborhoods and many of which are close to public transit. Let’s take a look at some of Boston’s most popular and highly rated nightlife experiences.

Beacon Hill

The Tip Tap Room on Cambridge Street is an upscale pub with a tremendous selection of beers on “tap”. Currently, there are 36 brands of draft including Verzet Oud Bruin and Bear Republic Tartare Rouge. If draft isn’t your thing, the Tip Tap Room stocks 40 brands of bottles and cans. Pair your craft brew with one of the Tip Tap Room’s exotic meat offerings, such as their famous boar meatballs.

Back Bay

Dine in a museum-setting at the Liquid Art House, an innovative restaurant-lounge-art gallery concept and a truly unique experience for patrons. The Liquid Art House is located at the Arlington in Bay Village. Art shows at Liquid Art House rotate monthly and feature local and emerging artists from around the globe. Nightly, the bar & lounge serves bar bites, and a wide selection of champagne and dessert wines.

Downtown Boston

The Battery Park Bar & Patio is known to Bostonians as one of Boston’s best patio bars. Its expansive patio space situated between two buildings offers an outdoor bar for their patron’s convenience. Located on Batterymarch Street in the Financial District of Downtown Boston, Battery Park Bar & Patio is the quintessential neighborhood bar. Enjoy a night under the stars with craft beers, signature wines, classic cocktails, and a house made menu of American favorites found only at this upscale sports bar.

South End

Metropolis, a wine bar and Mediterranean cuisine bistro, is located on Tremont Street in Historic South End. While this niche bistro is best known for their amazing weekend brunch, the cozy and secluded feel of this neighborhood wine bar is the perfect spot to wine taste with friends in the evenings. If you plan to dine at Metropolis, reservations are a must due to its small size and group dining is basically a buyout. The Metropolis team is happy to do accommodate parties; host an intimate gathering at Metropolis complete with wine pairings to make for a memorable evening.
