Brunch at Kinsale Irish Pub

Kinsale Irish Pub Brunch

The whole venue has a very cozy celtic feel,  it like being in a Irish Pub in Waterford Ireland.

Last week I had the chance to attend a Boston Blog and Tweet Brunch Event at the Kinsale Irish Pub & Restaurant in Boston. I had been to the Kinsale before, but never for brunch. The Kinsale located in the heart of Downtown Boston is known as a popular after work destination. The bar itself is designed and built in Ireland and offers a cozy Celtic vibe perfect for dinner or post work drinks with friends.

FULL IRISH BREAKFAST
two fried eggs, back rashers, bangers, grilled tomato, baked beans, sautéed mushrooms, black & white pudding, home fries, toast

Brunch at the Kinsale is classic Irish meets classic American. The menu has something for everyone with choices from Egg Benedict and a Full Irish Breakfast to the classic southern dish chicken and waffles.

Our brunch started off with sweet, warm classic Irish Brown bread. Followed by my choice for the first course of caramelized pear salad with encrusted warm goat cheese.

(both pictured below right)

My 2nd choice was the full Irish breakfast (pictured to the right) growing up with Irish heritage it reminded me of a typical breakfast with family on my mother's side. A breakfast that you don't walk away from hungry. I enjoyed every bite of this Irish feast as if it was my last meal. My eggs were perfect and the flavors of the black & white pudding were on point as I remembered growing up.

With my restaurant background, I was very impressed with service and the hospitality we were experiencing. It's never easy with a table of hungry food bloggers who take photos of everything before eating. Our brunch wrapped up with dessert. I had the cabernet cheesecake (not pictured) I will leave that one up to you go visit and see for yourself.

I would like to give a special shout out to our hosts Boston Blog and Tweet and Image Unlimited Communications for setting this event up. Also I would like to thank the Kinsale staff for welcoming us into their little piece of Ireland in Boston.
